AISPP awakens the enormous potential in every child to have a positive impact on their world. We do this by providing a safe place to grow, learn and explore. We have intertwined the Australian curriculum with the IB curriculum to offer the best education for our students.

Our 21st century mindset also recognises the importance of social values and social responsibility. Emotional intelligence, social and emotional programs, ‘doing good’ through action and service programs, and developing international-mindedness feature in all of our day-to-day programs.

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is an enormous decision that involves the whole family. Book a tour with our team today, and let us show you how AISPP is committed to meet the needs of students with passion, drive, creativity, innovation and dedication.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s)

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THE IB?

International Baccalaureate (IB) programs challenge students to excel in their studies, and encourage both personal and academic achievement.

The IB aims to do more than other curricula by developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.

IB Programs include PYP, MYP, DP and CP offering a top quality international curriculum framework for Primary, Middle and High School students from 3-19 years of age. You can learn more about the IB at www.ibo.org or visit our website (www.aispp.edu.kh).

WHAT IS MULTI-AGING?

Multi-aging is a unique way of teaching students to grow and develop in a creative, personalised environment. AISPP Learning Spaces maximise the potential of students from more than one grade level. Multi-age Learning Spaces are a benefit for students as they create leadership opportunities, academic opportunities, and encourage students to be co-creators of their learning.

Older students benefit from multi-aging because they are given the ability to lead younger students. Leading, whether in guiding a new student or giving attention to a younger student who may be having a difficult time, is a critical experience for students and is vital in emotional and social development. In our multi-age Learning Spaces, AISPP Thought Leaders (teachers) engage older students to “give” lessons to younger students. Younger students are encouraged to observe the older students as role models and thus attain higher levels of learning with more advanced work. Older students benefit from the ability to share, mentor and collaborate with diverse age ranges. Role-modelling ingrains concept-based thinking and positive emotional intelligence. Older students model more sophisticated, complex problem solving and critical thinking so that younger students are able to develop skills without always depending on the guidance of an adult Thought Leader. This enables the younger students to develop independence and feel secure and confident about their capabilities and further learning opportunities.

A student in a multi-age AISPP Learning Space is able to develop over time within a supportive community according to his/her ability. As a result, he/she is able to lead his/her own learning. Our students are able to take control and be co-creators of their own learning. The result is a lifelong love of learning.

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?

AISPP accept applications up to one year prior to the date of entry.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH TO ATTEND AISPP?
