Admissions Overview

The Australian International School Phnom Penh (AISPP) welcomes students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of talents and abilities.

The school can accommodate students with moderate learning, emotional or physical needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis. The school reserves the right to deny admission to any student for whom it cannot provide an appropriate educational program and/or support services.

Non-native speakers of English who are not fluent in the language will be admitted on a support-available basis within the school’s English as an Additional Language (EAL) Program. The proportion of EAL students in the class will be taken into account on admission.

Final admission decisions are made based on whether the school can cater for the student’s individual needs for them to be successful learners.

Admissions Process

Prospective students and their families should direct enquiries to the Admissions Office. To begin the school’s admissions process the non-refundable Application Fee of USD 250 must be paid.

Our Admissions process consists of 3 steps:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

AISPP accepts applications at any time.

No. Many of our children are not fluent in English when they arrive, though we do have some admissions testing to identify, according to age, whether or not we can fully support your child with their learning of English and being able to access the curriculum. This is most relevant as a child gets older and the learning, naturally, gets more and more complicated and challenging.

For those International families who are relocating to Cambodia, we look forward to welcoming you to the Kingdom of Wonder and its capital, Phnom Penh. In the meantime, we can send you information via email, and set up a time to contact you via phone or online.

When you move to Phnom Penh and visit the Australian International School Phnom Penh, you can rely on our friendly and caring staff to welcome you to our community, and offer advice on what it is like to live and work in Cambodia.

Please feel free to ask any questions so that we can help you settle in and make Cambodia feel like home.
