At AISPP, supporting our staff and their capacity for flourishing in 21st-century education remains one of our top priorities.
Last week, the secondary mathematics teacher, Tim Hilgenberg, and the Deputy Principal of Secondary, Jonathan Cox, conducted an insightful staff workshop on digital citizenship; providing our staff with an opportunity to enhance their awareness, share their teaching, and open the opportunities for technological teaching skills.
Tim began the workshop with an explanation of the importance of digital citizenship in the 21st century and how to help students and our community get ready for this challenge. As digital citizenship becomes even more critical once students gain unlimited access to the internet, teachers must incorporate digital citizenship within their lessons.
The school thanks Mr. Hilgenberg and Mr. Cox very much for their organization and valuable contribution in making the workshop a productive event.
