AISPP Celebrates World Literature as part of the UN’s International Mother Tongue Day!
As part of the UN’s International Mother Tongue Day, the school celebrated with an all-week reading campaign. Each class was excited to have staff and parents participating in the celebration. The students, staff and parents took turns to read out stories, poems and articles in different languages to classes, sharing the meaning and cultural significance of the texts. The stories brought up many ideas, but most importantly they provoked lots of discussion about our different cultures. Our whole community is very proud of the many different world cultures and languages represented among our members.
