From the Primary Principal
At AISPP, students are at the centre of all we do, think and believe. They are our “reason for being”. Our core business is providing an evidenced and researched based, inclusive educational environment that enables all students to access learning at their individual level and need, to reach their optimal potential as global citizens of tomorrow. Equally all staff are deeply committed to being lifelong learners who challenge themselves to develop their own learning to ensure our students are receiving the most contemporary and contextually appropriate up to date pedagogy.
At AISPP, students are actively engaged in their learning using an inquiry based model from the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme/Framework. In Early Years there is a focus on Play Based Learning with Intent. The content of this learning comes from the development and implementation of the Australian Curriculum.
Teachers and leaders regularly participate in a designed and deliberate professional learning program that aligns with the schools strategic plan and explicit improvement agenda. This program is inclusive of explicit subject learning development, divisional priorities and intentional well being learning and participation activities.
Furthermore, working in partnership with all community stakeholders, we collaboratively strive to support the intentional focus of personal and professional growth and well being leading to ongoing improvement of student and teacher learning outcomes
